Discover our offer to professional bodies

Are you a professional body that wants to increase the range of services you offer to your members? Do you want to move some of the services you offer online but are concerned about cost?

Continuous Professional Development is changing. Gone are the days when just counting CPD activities was enough, what matters now is that individuals are able to demonstrate a commitment to their development and evidence the impact CPD has had on their practice. Capturing that impact on paper is difficult. An e-portfolio makes it easier through providing greater inter activity.

We have a worked with a full range of professional bodies of all sizes in the UK and internationally, from ones with less than 250 members to others with more than half a million students,  to enable them to provide their members with a range of tools to help them plan and capture their CPD

Just some of the tools we have developed include;

  • Planned Pathways on key topics to help members plan their CPD
  • Pushing a record of a CPD event that a member attends, into their CPD record
  • Inviting others to verify professional records and CPD activity
  • Managing applications for accreditation from the professional body online
  • Creating multiple reports from one CPD record.

Our distinctive offer is that we are able use these tools to handcraft each site to meet the specific needs of our partner professional bodies.

    New Online/Offline CPDnow app now available in Google Play and iOS stores

    Imagine having access to an online/offline application which is handcrafted to reflect the way your site works now. There is no need to change your approach to CPD and assessment because our app only works this way, we can still mirror your approach.

    The app versions of our sites are developed in such a way that if the app detects there is an internet connection, then it will load the full site with all functions available including the ability to authenticate mentors before sign off inside the app itself.

    If the app detects that there is no internet connection it will drop back to the off line version where the key items that it is agreed need to be accessible off line, remain accessible. It will be clear to the user they are in offline mode and a different type of authentication process will be enabled. As soon as the app detects that they are back online then all the content captured off line will automatically be added to the online site.

    We create our first online/offline Android and iPhone applications

    Members of the Society and College of Radiographers are enjoying the fact that they are able to download an Android version of CPD Now from the Google Play Store and the iPhone version is now available in the Apple App Store.

    This means that members will be able to create and update CPD plans and records even when they are offline. As soon as they are back online whatever changes they have made to their CPD Plans and Records will be automatically synchronised with their online record.

    axia_digital_web_graphic_09The Android version of the Application has been available for a few weeks and already over 200 members have signed up to use it. We expect a similar demand for the Apple version.

    Crucially the way we have developed the application and the changes that we have made to our core NOW.net platform means that it is possible to create online/offline applications for each of our sites.  We are therefore able maintain our offer to existing and new customers that their sites are handcrafted to their specific requirements. You do not need to change what you do, to fit in with the way our online/offline application works.

    Launch of our first Online/Offline Application

    On June 7th our customer of long standing the Society and College of Radiographers (SCoR) launched their new application version of CPDnow the site we developed them which supports all their CPD and accreditation activities. The application enables members to capture their Plans and Evidence Offline and then they sync back to their portfolio when they are back online. We expect the App to be launched on the Google Play store in the next few weeks and we will then be creating an Apple iOS version shortly after that.

    The application functionality has been developed in such a way that it can be applied to our other sites without compromising on our core design approach which is to able to reflect the assessment methodology of each institution with whom we work. In other words we have created an application but not one that only works in a certain way.
