Congratulations to the members of the ACCA’s PER team, who have received internal recognition for their excellent work.

As a company we like winning awards ourselves, but we are just as happy when teams we work with also receive accolades for their work. The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) hold an annual award ceremony to recognise staff members, who work on projects that are both beneficial to the business and best reflect ACCA’s core values and behaviours.

The ACCA’s Professional Experience Record (PER) is a core element of the assessments that trainees complete along with exams. This summer, we worked with the ACCA’s PER team to streamline the completion of the practical experience requirement (PER) and ensure the rigour of the ACCA qualification – this is the work that has been recognised.

The following link details the changes that have been delivered on the 24th of August 2023 – https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/affiliates/completing-your-per/changes-to-per.html

The company’s Managing Director Richard Etheridge was delighted to receive this news,

“When we won the tender for the development of the PER tool in 2015, we were both delighted and to a degree overawed, by the scale and complexity of the task we had been contracted to deliver. It was by far the largest project we had ever worked on in terms of scale and the amount of data we were processing. There are now over a million trainee accountants using the site from across the world.”

The award means that the PER team have now had a top hat added to their employee lanyard and our Development Team Leader who led the project for the company also received an actual ‘Top Hat’ which he is wearing below.
