CPD sites at the forefront of best practice

We have a long standing relationship with the Society and College of Radiographers. They from the outset of work with them were committed to placing their online CPD system as the primary method for members to capture their CPD. This was well before many other professional bodies had adopted an electronic approach. Subsequently they expanded the site, so that it was also the means whereby members obtained accreditation from their professional body as Consultant and Advanced Practitioners and Assistant Practitioners. This in itself was an innovative approach because it enabled members to apply for accreditation by selecting evidence from their CPD record and then having it attested firstly by their peers and then approved by their professional body.

In 2014 we startedt to work with the Society and College of Radiographers (SCoR) to radically redesign CPDnow so that it provided better support to the learning activity of their members, by providing easy access to all core functionality, new interactive learning pathways to help them shape their CPD activity and clear accreditation opportunities to help them progress within the profession.

This 2015-LearningAwards-Bronze_blackfar reaching transformation of the design of the site has led to a fourfold increase in the number of members logging into CPDnow to and a similarly dramatic increase in the number of members who applied for accreditation.Indeed for a number of months SCoR struggled to cope with the volume of applications for accreditation.

This led to the company receiving a ‘Bronze Award’ for Innovation at the prestigious Learning Awards in February 2015.
