Supporting Professional Growth in Orthotics

The Orthotic Education and Training Trust was originally set up by the Department of Health and the British Surgical Trades Association in order to advance education, training, and professional standards within the orthotics sector. OETT provides funding to orthotists, helping them to access courses, CPD visits, and other educational opportunities.

A Digital Solution for Funding Applications

We first began working with OETT in June 2019, providing them with an online portal to manage funding applications. Then in 2024, OETT approached us to update and refresh their site to better meet their evolving needs.

Their key goals included simplifying and automating the application process for both applicants and the OETT team. To achieve this, we proposed dividing the previously large, complex single application form into three separate forms tailored to different application types, each with only the relevant fields to reduce confusion and improve form completion rates.

We also focused on streamlining login and registration to encourage genuine applicants while discouraging speculative users. Additional improvements included empowering applicants to manage their submissions easily and providing robust administrative tools to efficiently manage users, applications, approvals, and payments. These enhancements bring the latest developments from our core platform to ensure a smoother, more efficient experience for everyone involved.
